Our Accomplishments

MY FIRST TERM

Since I have been in office, I have never made decisions without putting the people of District 2 first. Every decision and vote I take is done with community input and with knowledge of our neighborhoods’ experiences. I will continue  to amplify the voices of this community. As your City Representative I understand that neighborhoods are the heart of our city, which is why I host in coordination with the residents our annual holiday and Summer events for our community members.

I hold regular bi-monthly community meetings and other special meetings to keep my constituents informed of City business. In total, I have held over 100 community meetings in both the Central and Northeast parts of District 2 to continue to build the voices of our community.

I will continue to maintain an open door policy and my office and I will continue to help resolve thousands of constituent concerns. I have continued to block walk throughout the community, to mobilize all constituents – not just voters.

It is with this energy that we have many accomplishments to be proud of throughout my time in office. Together, we have improved quality of life in our neighborhoods:

  • The renovation of the Chelsea Pool
  • Flat Field Complex at Lower Beaumont
  • The Liz Morayma Gonzalez Park renovation and expansion
