TRANSPARENCY & ACCOUNTABILITY
In my next term, I intend to continue to protect transparency and hold local leaders and staff accountable. I have been relentless in asking the questions that need to be asked. I have not made decisions based on recommendations from stakeholders who have ignored the community.
COMMUNITY DRIVEN COUNCIL
I want to make sure our City government reflects our community. I believe leadership is understanding what the fabric of a community looks like and this should be reflected in those who govern. I have stood up for a better system to allow community input to be taken seriously. I will always fight for those I believe should be making the decisions, which is you, the public. It has not always been easy and sometimes I have been the lone voice for what is right, but I will always fight for the district and the people who make it so great.
